PAL helps the younger generation in sports, homework, and other academic and extracurricular activities. The purpose of this group is to keep the energy of younger generation into positive direction without giving enough space to indulge themselves into negative criminal acts such as drug abuse and gunfights in their early youth. The investment on children creates stronger nation and this group works to build stronger characters in early age to become proactive leaders in the future rather indulging in criminal acts [PALNYC (2015)]. Police Athletic Leagues is influenced by Differential Association Theory to the extent that the individuals learn values and social criminal behaviors from the interactions with other. The police individuals interact with the children so the children cannot have enough extra time to spend in irresponsible and violent company. Plus, the police officers will interact to teach positive values to fights against the wrongs in the society [Boundless (2015)]. The influence of Routine Activity Theory comes in the formation of PLA is that to change the routines of the children so they cannot involve in a lifestyle that would motivate them to criminal acts because the living style and time spending company
