Those of a weak mind will be blinded by his charisma, and charm; they will follow behind this individual without a worry. Jim Jones held his followers in such awe that they followed him into the jungle and committed suicide. Jim Jones created the church Wings of Deliverance, which he later renamed The Peoples Temple, in 1955 in Indianapolis. He was an ordained minister in 1964. His church preached equal treatment for African Americans and many black people joined his cult.
