Tutor description

Jack Kerouac is a central figure in the “beat” generation of poets and novelists. From On The Road what does “beat” mean and how did the novel establish the style and genre?  Kerouac and the Beats often romanticize others: the poor, immigrant laborers, African American jazz musicians, and eastern philosophers. Why did Beats reject middle class American expectations of conformity?  Beats are often criticized for their self destructive behavior, particularly in regard to drugs, alcohol, and sex. At the same time, for many the beats were early champions of individual freedom. Are these tensions between freedom and community norms central to US culture? How do Kerouac and the Beats experience these tensions? These are the 3 prompts which we could choose from. I need this Essay by the 3rd. I could also give you the book which you can get information from.
