China is one of the largest countries in the world, with population of more than one billion people.Only 10 % of chinas land is used for cultivation purposes. At times, dramatic shifts in temperature and climate wreak havoc on its generally abundant agriculture. The ever-growing population and expanding cities threaten to inhabit even more of the already inadequate space.
