Tutor description

1. To some extent, this is true. Workers in those industries or occupations where jobs are transferred to lower wage countries do lose their jobs. However, if work can be performed less expensively at the new locations, consumers will benefit from lower prices; they will be able to spend on products and services that they could not afford previously. Quality of products and services could improve because of world-wide competition. Wages and income will rise in poorer countries. As incomes rise, the consumers in these countries will be able to increase their demand for goods and services and thus may create export opportunities for the more developed countries.
