The initial report for growth in second quarter was 3.5% but was later revised to reflect 4.9%. According to such we can conclude that initial results tend to differ from the final results. According to BEA, this was the second time since 2003 that growth in real GDP had exceeded 4% into consecutive years (Moody's, United States: Detailed economic analysis, indicators and forecasts., 2015). The high results in real GDP growth we auctioned by the contributory actions of trade, federal government and fixed investments. Inventories were not as expected by the federal government estimations. Inflation decreased in 2014 which created a worthy environment for the reduction of energy and food prices. The level of disposable income increased steady throughout the third quarter. The gross domestic income realized a final growth estimate of 4.7%, which was revised from an early estimate of 4.5% to account for investments, inventories and service spending (Moody's, 2015).
