Impact of workplace bullyingNameInstitutionReview of Wiedmer articleAccording to this article, workplace bullying is a barbaric act and is usually conducted by those who want power, domination and control over others. In businesses organizations, bullying is viewed as an inefficient way of working and can be easily prevented with accurate and effective measures. Businesses executives and the organization management team are responsible for coming up with and sustaining a working environment that is free from bullying. If employees and employers work together to come up with strict organization policies and practices, bullying will easily be prevented. According to this article, there are certain employees to whom bullying is usually targeted. For instance, new employees are usually vulnerable to bullying as they are yet to fully understand the organization culture and policies (Raines, 2013). At the same time, new employees usually fear reporting bullying cases as they being branded as the Judas' of the organization. Instead, they opt to persevere bullying believing that it will stop when they became familiar with the organization practices and policies. However, they end up experiencing bullying practices the entire lifetime in the organization. The article goes on to say that the young members of the organization are also vulnerable to their older counterparts. This is because of the fact that the older members of the organization feel superior to them
