Chapman is well known for hunting down bail jumpers and bringing them to jail. In 2003Chapman once again made the news when he captured serial rapists Andrew Luster. Luster escaped to Mexico, in the middle of his trial, were he was accused of drugging and raping three different woman. In his absence he was found guilty in absentia of 86 counts of rape. Duane "Dog" Chapman, his son, and his brother Tim Chapman left for Mexico in order to hunt down the fugitive. The hunt team headed to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where they learned Luster was living under an assumed name. Dog Chapman and his team captured Andrew Luster but while they were transporting him back to California were arrested by Mexican
