Thesis StatementIn this essay, marriage customs of two profoundly different cultures are presented - culture of Hindu and culture of Kazakh. Marriage customs of those cultures are tremendously different from one another, regardless, of the relatively close proximity to each other in a geographic terms. Thesis ContextKazakh culture takes place in Kazakhstan, which is a very big country in Central Asia; while Hindu culture is present in India. The difference between those cultures is very significant, and this dissimilarity is deeply based on traditional roots of those cultures.Kazakh Culture in KazakhstanKazakh culture is based on the nomadic pastoral economy of the inhabitants. Thus, Kazakh culture is largely influenced by the Turkic nomadic lifestyle. Kazakhstan is one of the Post-Soviet Union countries; and hence, has a high diversity. There are 15 countries were involved in the Soviet Union, where immigration of the population among those countries was allowed. Soviet Union Empire was in existence for over 80 years, and thus, complete mixture of the population among 15 countries took place by the end of existence of this Empire. As a consequence, there is a diverse kinship takes place in Kazakhstan now with a wide variety of languages spoken. The main language spoken in Kazakhstan is Kazakh, which is considered to be one of the Turkic group of languages and is closely related to Nogai and Karakalpak.
