Psychology 496/Applied ProjectAshford UniversitySchool violence has a been a prevalent part of American Society for many years; whether it be the school shootings that started back in Columbine back in 1999, or everyday horseplay and bullying in the school yard, school violence is a typical activity in our schools in America. Many have wondered what is causing this to happen, or to what extent this event will occur down the road for our kids in school. Many great questions have been proposed. To date, these questions and concerns have not been completely answered, but the only concrete fact that we all have is that the occurrence will continue to spread, and has done so as years have passed. Since 1994, school violence has declined a great deal. Statistics show that cases of violence in 2007 were 40 per every 1,000 students that are less than half the rate in 1994 (youth violence, 2011). I propose to initialize two-great questions that will hopefully sum up and collect a hypothesis of the cause of and solution to school violence.Many believe a bully is a product of a rough-household and just the opposite for the good kid. Conditions seem to be the general consensus of behavior, or so many have said. Though there are many answers to this question. My first question would be, "What are the issues that cause kids to become hateful towards other kids?" In order to answer this qualitative question, I would need to run a couple of test groups, in order
