Applied Project: Stage ThreePsychology 496/Applied ProjectUsing qualitative interviews with a group of 12 - 14 year olds, determine student perspectives regarding reasons why bullying occurs.PURPOSIVE SAMPLING - Subjects are selected because of some characteristic (gifted, 2011).My question is qualitative in nature, so there is no need or purpose for there to be any variables to be broken down or pin-pointed. The qualitative question in which I am proposing is also providing for a smaller sampling size, and is purposive in nature; all my candidates were chosen because of special characteristics, those being between the ages of 12-14 years of age, and having victim/bully status. Within my question, one will find that the unit to be measured will be the perspectives of those between the ages of 12-14, of why bullying occurs. When all perspectives have been received, then all responses will be analyzed to come up with a conclusive answer as to why such a phenomenon occurs.Sampling RequirementsFor my sample, I plan to choose kids between the ages of 12-14, primarily due to the maturity level in students. I plan to go to the local schools in Bridge City
