Embedding Equality and Diversity into the Curriculum Embedding Equality and Diversity into the Curriculum Achieving an education beyond high school has become critical for every individual. This will guarantee a pupils' success in life in the workplace and outside the workplace. Many students are at a significant disadvantage to completing their academic goals due to their race or gender. Although many countries worldwide put forth considerable effort to establish equality for all individuals regardless of race and gender, the statistics regarding graduation rates are still startling. This paper will discuss those statistics, the reason for different races having an increasingly growing gap in graduation rates, and how to ensure that every pupil, of every race and gender, has the same opportunities and tools to succeed as the majority race and gender. The definition of embedding equality and diversity into the curriculum is explained, how this will benefit students worldwide, and how to implement an all-inclusive curriculum in any learning environment. Detailed steps are provided to ensure that any curriculum is all inclusive, and practical examples are given to assure that all steps are easily understood.
