AbstractIn many areas of the world, increasing epidemic of childhood obesity is the basis for growing concern and importance. On a worldwide scale, the fast increase in obesity is most noticeably found in lower to middle-income developing countries; and especially, in poor countries this issue is substantial reason for alarm. In regards to U.S. statistics, it is estimated that 40% of children are now either obese or in danger of becoming obese, and rates of increase in most countries are about 4% per 10 years or even higher (1). One of the major obstacles to achieve a greater success regarding this issue remains a simultaneous endeavor to address an individual and the treatment of obesity management focus in a professional environment. The etiology of childhood obesity involves a complex interaction of diet, metabolic, physical activity, psychological and genetic-related factors. Therefore, it is essential to incorporate an information technology in combination of sophisticated techniques that can address these issues in obesity-related studies.It is important to work on studies that are dedicated to obesity in children in relation to health and disease. The primary reason for studying obesity in children is the long-term risk for conditions such as cardiovascular disease and noninsulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (2).
