After the erotic sex, Ana is laying on top of Grey. She tries to touch him but he prevents her. She asks for his reasons, and he admits that he is fifty shades of fucked-up (James 237). He claims that he had a very tough introduction to the life and he cannot bother her with the details. Ana then informs Grey of her erotic dream, and he seems pleased claiming that there is still hope for her. He also talks about contraception, and Ana agrees to meet Grey’s doctor in Grey’s place on Sunday to sort the issues (James 239).

Grey has to leave. He promises to have a revised contract for Ana to sign. To him, her sign will show that she is ready, and they can start playing. Grey also says that he is glad that Ana is signing the contract, as would have kidnaped and held against her will if she had not accepted. She finds his words amusing, and she rolls her eyes on him.
