Chapter 80
Summary

Bonnie visits Celeste’s home and tells her how she intends to go to the police and tell them everything that happened during the trivia night. While Celeste advises that she already provided a statement indicating that she saw nothing, Bonnie mentions that the police will be back again for a proper witness statement (Moriarty 360). Bonnie also reveals to Celeste that she no longer lies or keeps secrets. Therefore, she does not want anyone to keep lying for her (Moriarty 361).

Analysis

Bonnie finally decides to turn herself in to the police. When she was young, Bonnie had lied to everyone about his father’s domestic violence. But now she was tired of lying. She also does not want to cause anymore trouble because of her mistakes, and requests Celeste not to lie for her.
