Chapter 87

Anna is startled by the noise. She realizes that she left her phone elsewhere, so she cannot call for help. As she creeps out of bed to look for her phone, she decides to arm herself with the box cutter. As Anna approaches the stairs, she remembers that her phone is in the library. However, before she heads to the library a cold voice calls out her name and summons her downstairs. The terror depicted by the author creates suspense in the readers of the novel.
